Video games have always been a passion of mine, and once I had the hardware to do so I thought it might be cool if other people would like watching me play games, and I was right. I love difficult games and games with lots of freedom in them, and especially the potential of indipendent game studios, and those preferences are clearly portrayed in the games I choose to play and record. Well my channel has had 3 stages of life thus far, so I should talk through them I guess.

Stage 1 - I created the channel because I edit videos for my work and I was searching for a video of someone typing on a keyboard (which I couldn't find). I thought I would make a channel that's full of random videos of random things that people could use as stock footage. That's why I came up with the name "allthingsmundane".
I made about 40 videos of things and quickly realized that no one wanted to see a video of a tap running!

Stage 2 - I was playing The Simpsons Tapped Out a lot and there are premium items in the game. I thought it would be a good idea to record me buying those premium items as I know some people can't/won't buy them, and others would want to see how they look like. This expanded into doing other parts of the game as well. I did this for about 4-5 months and then saw TOO many other people doing the same thing, and better than me (and they uploaded quicker too) So I've stopped doing those videos

Stage 3 - This is the stage I'm at now. I've got a book full of "ideas" - mostly comedy stuff (don't groan...and say "gaw not ANOTHER comedy channel") so I've decided to try making my own original content and seeing what happens :)

I know that the majority of my subscribers subscribed due to me playing the Simpsons game, but hopefully they will stick around for the next evolution of my channel :)

Hi, my name is Lui and I'm a singer-songwriter and musician. I create original songs called: "A Song About... Anything!"
Which all relate to the news to video games to anything you can relate to.
 
Here are four words which are relevant to me - gameplay, rant, hypocrisy, philosophy.

Gameplay - the act of playing a videogame.

Rant - to vent/tirade/diatribe against something.

Hypocrisy - Pretence of one view while holding another opposite/different one.

Philosophy - Intellectual pondering on the whys, hows and whatevers of life.
