Sync issue

I've Got It
I'm having some problems syncing my video and audio. Basically I recored my voice with audacity, then the game video and audio with action. Then when I line it up in my time line to the point where I say something that matches up with whats happening in the video, a few seconds later the audio falls behind. whats going on? :/ no cuts were made so I don't understand how it can go fro mbeing in sync to out of sync. Any help?

Is it locked to 30fps? What software are you using?

Try something out for me. Get an app called Handbrake, run the game video through there and set it to constant framerate, see if it works in the editor then.

its locked at 30 cuz thats what i set it too.. it can go to different ones
 
Like I said, try what I suggested. What it sounds like is the recording software is dropping frames. Can you identify specific spots where it goes off sync? Like does it happen specifically after a loading screen or when the screen goes black?

well it was FNAF so there realy is no loading screen after the inital one. but isjust steadily goes out of sync in the course of about 5 - 10 seconds
 
What are you using to record? And what exactly is going off of what? Are the GAME audio and video going off sync from each other or is the game A/V going off sync from your commentary?

I use action to record game V/A and audacity to record my voice. If I align my commentary so that it lines up with the syncing proceduce i do after hitting record (counting from 1-5 while holding up fingers to sync webcam and commentary, while also moving the mouse pointer to side to side to sync it with video) then it all works great and is in sync..for about 5 seconds, then the video gets ahead of the audio, over time, not all at once.

I feel like im repeating myself but thats all the info I can give DX

WHICH AUDIO? The GAME audio or your COMMENTARY? I feel like I'm pulling teeth here, come on.
