swearing in videos.

I don't really like hearing swearing on videos one of my favourite boybands the Janoskians now have swearing in one of their songs and their new video

I will allow swearing, without censors, if it was a slip of the tongue. *playing a scary game and something pops out* "Holy f**k that came out of nowhere" If I can't help but swear while playing the game, then I usually put a viewer discretion at the beginning. Personal, i'm trying to appeal to gamers of all ages on my channel, and swearing often leads to less views from the younger crowd, or worse, an age gate.

It really depends on your target audience. College humor ,for example, swears quit a bit because they target an older audience. But then there's channels like the fine bros that swear a little, but rarely and with censors because anyone can enjoy their humor. I don't swear in my videos unless the swearing is supposed to be part of a character I'm playing in which case I censor it.

Swearing can creat a type of uniqueness, wich can be good or bad.

From watching commentaries with swearing in it, I personally don't mind and sometimes I do find it funny depending on the context. Now I do agree with others that sometimes, excessive swearing could really depreciate the video content itself and of course appeal to a more rebellious age group, typically teens..
