Summer In The City discussion

YouTube Live? You don't mean YouLive do? I hear it got cancelled!

Summer in the City is an annual YouTube gathering that started in 2009 and was held around various places in London until they decided that for 2013 they needed to move to a proper venue so for 2013 and 2014 they have held it in Alexandra Palace in August of both years, there are meet and greets with some of the more well known YouTubers, a stage for various live performances, panels where various topics are discussed throughout the day and lots of other stuff as well plus able to meet upw ith others who vlog with varying amount of subscribers so you can meet and network with others and who knows where it'll lead, new longterm friendships etc!

Theank you Kristii, being trying to figure the name out for last day or two.

I can't believe that twice we were in the same panels and we missed each other and that we were both in the same wetherspoons pub near wood green tube station and didn't see each other there either though I did get to meet ya boyfriend, also chatted to Luke, Jason and Hannah Witton which was nice.

I went to that pub on the Friday night, left quite early though

Oh! We didn't go to the Wood Green Wetherspoon's on Friday as one of the people at the place i stayed made an event called pub in the city at a wetherspoon's in Holborn but we were all at the wood green pub on Sat and Sun night and there were quite a lot of YouTubers there on Sunday both big and small YTers all mingling together and chatting with each other which was nice and is i guess what events like SitC were originally all about that no matter how many subs/views you have you can all mingle together and have a proper conversation.

Yeah I went to the holborn one on the Friday, I just don't get along with anyone in that group of people apart from literally 2 people. So I kinda just left instead of sitting their awkwardly

Wow! Haha! We did have a lot of near misses then! I can't believe you even met Paul, and not me! I spent a lot of time with him :P

Cool, I saw you on the Saturday when you left SitC but I wasn't sure it was you til you had walked off and security commented to other security person, I was sat on the steps just next to the fence getting some fresh air as was too warm inside![DOUBLEPOST=1408013877,1408013742][/DOUBLEPOST]

Indeed, it was only cos i mentioned to one of the people was with that I had been trying to find you all day and he said that you had been inside, then he said thats her bf over there, did he tell you he had seen me? He said that you had gone back to wherever you were staying :(
