suggested videos

iv noticed with alot of channels, once you hit 1 of there videos, on the side there is usually a fair few more of that same channels videos, how do you do this?

It's automatic, you don't have to do this, youtube itself it's going to display other videos of your channel as suggested if someone watches one of your videos.

but they dont though? iv tested it out myself and watched my own videos, i have nothing in the suggested

Some people say that it happens when your videos have a lot of similar tags (and unique ones such as your name), but YouTube doesn't put much weight on the tags anymore. I suspect that it will display your videos as suggested when it detects that viewers are watching multiple of your videos. Whenever I post a new video there are none of my videos suggested, but a few days (to weeks) later they start appearing.

Same with mine. I think the algorithms have to catch up with whatever it is you've added to your video description and tags.
