Subsribers Botting?

I'm just curious what happens when people bots and what will be the result.

I found out lots of youtubers use a program like "Sub4Sub" websites and I just
wanna know why and what will happen?

People know that often subscribers drive in views for your channel and help you grow, they don't realise you have to work towards getting them. So instead they offer subscribing someone in turn for them doing the same to them. What have they got out of the deal, inactive subs who won't watch either persons videos and only wanted that 0 to increase to 1. Short and sweet answer, don't bother, it will do more harm than good :)

You gain basically nothing in return for networks not wanting to partner you as much because it looks like you bot.
 
Nothing you will gain by doing this. You may gain a lot of subs, but all the subs won't watch your video. The number of your subs will just "number"..
 
It's pointless, necer use it. Yeah, it gives you a subscriber, but it's like getting only a penny on paycheck. You get something, but it's pointless. They're inactive and mostly trying to get subscribers thinking that it's the most important thing on YouTube, no, it's views.

Networks (if you're in one) can tell if you're botting and can blacklist you from their network. This can affect your chances of getting into other networks depending on what their contract/terms state.

Also, it's petty and it's pointless. People will be able to see that you're botting if, for e.g. you have 5,000 subs, but only 50 iews per video with no comments or interaction.
 
I don't think anything actually 'happens' but it's not lying to anyone but yourself, you just get a bunch of inactive subs. The point in subs are so you can see who wants to see more of your videos. If they only sub you because you sub them its pointless.
