Subscribers are adding up but no emails?

So I thought I was stuck since last week then today and yesterday. There are 2 subscribers added to my subscribers. No emails or anything. It may be a glitch?

It happens sometimes YOUTUBE doesn't tell you. Had that happen a lot.

Happens to me a lot as well. I got 4 subscribers recently but I only got one email. Sometimes people put their subscriptions on private so Youtube won't tell you.

Oh. when you have a private subscription, it won't add on that channel's subs list?

no it adds on the sub list but the person you subscribe too wont see who it is.

Yeah this happens to me on and off. More often lately though. It's a nice surprise when I log on and see my sub count, but I like to check out my sub's channels, so I like to get the email. I guess more people are going private?

This is happening to me too In periods I never get any email notifications about subscribers from YouTube...

If the people that subscribe to you don't have subscriptions public, you won't get a mail from them.
