Subs to view ratio is weak

Hey everyone,

I got a shoutout from a buddy and he has 8000 subs, I got roughly 25 subs from that but the views isn't going up. If i'm lucky I get 5 views a day. Does anyone have any tips?

Hey there! One thing I've noticed for the most part is that you are "doing well" if you are averaging about 10% views out of your subscribers range, this to me at least seems to be the amount you want to get minimum, of course when you are still growing you will either go over or below this but you shouldn't worry!

At your size you are doing fine! Just keep up the videos and they will come!

People subscribe for all kinds of reasons. I wouldn't be too concerned. Just keep doing what you love as the poster said above.

Don't worry about it, apparently it's only around 20% of subscribers that actually watch your videos! So we are all in the same boat! Just take a look at the bigger channels, like Jenna Marbles is on like 11 million or so subscribers now? And she only (lol only) gets about 1 or 2 million views per video! :D Just keep making videos, and the views will eventually go up! :)

Believe me, i would love another 25 subs :P Im currently sitting at 30 subs, and i love it. I'd love to have more, so i can expand the community that im trying to create, but the going has been tough. But i think if i break it down statistically, i have really gotten 1 sub per day, give or take. I have had my channel for a little over a month now.

TELL people to subscribe. At the end of every video, add a huge subscribe button... honestly, it seems obvious but it really does work! :D

I'm shocked to hear that only such a low percentage of subs is going to watch the videos, but I have noticed it myself! I can tell exactly who the people are who "like" my videos: me, a friend of mine, 2-3 people from this forum, and the one loyal sub I have. It seems like no other subs are watching my videos (as I think they'd click the damn like button). This way it's pretty hard to get excited for the 27 subs I have. :unsure2:

Just keeping making great quality content and love what you're doing. Look for opportunities to promote your channel (without making people angry or annoyed of course). There are a lot of great suggestions already written on this site.
