Subs or Views?

I do apologize if a similar topic has been posted.

It came to mind recently that right now, im more for views then subs. I rarely ever get subs an yeah it does suck because id like to see that number increase but I do get the views an I know 95% of them come the lovely awesome a** people from yttalk:D

But knowing I get a pretty good amount of views each video, it makes me feel like that I still have motivation and potential to keep filming because people take the time to watch a few seconds of my videos.

Even though times for me have been rough in my life the past couple months and they're slightly getting better, I know that this forum, these friendly people and youtube will always be here to see me get better by just clicking my video.

So which do you prefer?

Views, mainly because subscribers isn't an accurate assessment of the channel.
Also, because views means someone is viewing my channel's videos. :D
 
I would think subs because subbers are people who really appreciate your videos and basically bookmarked your channel so that they can watch your future videos as well.

Well as the channel grows maybe but im sitting at 16 subs right now, uploaded my newest video about 9 hours ago and i still havent gotten any views yet.
 
It is easy for me to advertise my videos, so I don't really worry about exposure, but, I want those viewers to subscribe, so then I will then have an accumulating amount of views for future videos, so, SUBSCRIBERS
 
In the end, views are all that really matter. Subscribers are just a quick way of measuring the potential views someone can get.
 
I like both, but subscribers is what I use to value my growth so I wish I had more. But i'm still new so can't expect more than what I have now.
