Stuttering Cutscenes

Hello all once again!

(I do apologise for making loads of threads, but I'm bursting with questions).

One game in particular I have been recording was fine until I reached a cutscene, then it stutters the audio and video. I've tried loads of different fixes but nothing seems to work. This is the only game that seems to be giving me hassle at cutscenes!

I uploaded it none the less, but I looks horribly unproffesional and I would like to fix it. :(

Was it stuttering on your recorded file only, or the game itself? :)

What game was it? Your computer might just not be up to task at that particular bit.

Oh ok

Could it be an FPS issue, you might be able to run it normally fine, but recording adds that extra strain. Do you get a good FPS when recording on the game, might also help to know what your recording with as some recorders have more options I could suggest to play about with :)

It's Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, whoever asked. I use Bandicam and I think my FPS is around 25 (or atleast thats the number that springs to mind - I'd have to check once I got home).

If your FPS is actually 25 then that may be the case, obviously the lower your FPS the more you will notice the game struggling and this will appear on the video aswell. It may play normally when not recording simply because your processor isn't being as taxed. Cutscenes are often more detailed than in-game when rendered, so if your getting 25fps in-game, you may only get 20 in a cutscene and this will be noticeable via stuttering :(

EDIT* If this the case, its probably best to lower the resolution your playing at, or try to close all unnecessary applications that might be slowing it down :)

The 25 FPS is my setup in Bandicam by the way. I could change it? I've confused myself  Any suggestions?

Okay, if you looked at this screen:

(Not my image)

Have you put 25 where it says 60FPS, and do you know if that FPS limit is ticked or not?
