Studio

I Love YTtalk
Ever since I saw Mega64's studio, I've wanted one of my own. Rhett and Link helped make me want one more. Problem is (besides money anyway...), I don't know how they found them. Seriously. I look on office and warehouse sites and can't find anything. Where the heck do people find studios???

A small house refurbished would do, do Good Mythical Morning have a behind the scenes on the complexity of their ENTIRE studio? If so that can give you an idea if you wanted to base it off theirs, I've only ever seen their main recording area and that could even be a single room in a house decorated and done up.

I love your icon lol. And they showed a tour of their previous studio. It was some weird cross between a house and a small warehouse. Mega64 scored a small warehouse themselves. I've been looking it up for fun and saw some stuff around here. Some day it would be cool to take the next step and actually rent a studio myself.

The who project might be allot cheaper and easier than you might think, it would be possible to purchase or rent an abandoned warehouse and use stud walls with insulation to make rooms. :D

Thanks also, I found it on Google. :P

A studio can be as cheap or expensive to build as you want it just like its size. Depends on your needs. The one I'd love to build out probably would fill your average home's basement or possibly even an office. I've heard of people even constructing a building on their property specifically to have a home studio away from everything else.

Personally I think the average apartment bedroom size office would work fine for a studio if you can place all your necessary equipment in there and keep things organized.

Well, the problem with an apartment (especially mine...) is that you can hear through the walls. I'd get a lot of noise complaints if I made the videos I really want to make. In a warehouse, no one is going to complain about that and I have a ton of room.

Yeah, but you will complain about the lease amount :)
