STOPPING VLOGGING

Ok so I've decided to stop Vlogging altogether.

There seems to be so many really good Vloggers out there already and I don't want to become just another vlogging channel!

Instead I'm going to focus on creating quality stand-alone videos, but all under the same theme of my challenges.

So what are your thoughts on vlogging?
Has it become saturated or are there still opportunities for new unknown vloggers?
woooOAH your trailer looks EPIC. An around the world trip?! That sounds awesome. Take me with you.

and I agree with you somewhat. youtube is oversaturated everywhere. but that just means more people to meet and more friends to make, right :)?

but it does somewhat suck, my channel is at a total standstill d:

If you're talking vlogging rather then standrard vlogging, then there is definitely opportunities for vloggers to rise up and become large. I have personally seen quite a few vloggers recently grow immensely.

I believe in abundance for all. You just need to find your niche and bring out what makes you unique. People will love you:)

Agreed. There is room for everyone. Just about every category is oversaturated but that shouldn't stop anyone from doing something that they enjoy.

I do think that a mistake that a lot of vloggers(the follow me around type) make is that they show every little minute detail of their day instead of the most interesting things. Also, for some reason a lot of vloggers try to start out with daily vlogs. Unless your life is super interesting or you have a really magnetic personality, daily vlogging doesn't work out too well for most newbies.

My main channel started out as a vlogging channel and continues to be (although I did mix in gaming for a bit until I felt I had the momentum to start a separate channel for that). My vlogs have evolved over time - from just random posts whenever I felt like talking to the camera, to a regular, weekly vlog where I spout my random thoughts and opinions at the world. If people like it, they'll watch. It's my space to express myself.

I know that my vlogs are like really, really awful. I love the idea of vlogging so I'm working on material now. Better material. I think that it's something that brings me out of my comfort zone a little bit, and I definitely need that. Don't worry about other people too much. Take people's thoughts and maybe just critique from that. It's pretty much what I'm trying to do.

Hey Alexandria...dont't be so hard on yourself. Keep at it and with every video just try and do better. I did notice on a video that it's really shaky. YOu should invest in a tripod. The gorilla is really good if you are using a smart phone to record. Its under 20$ at amazon!!

Aww, thanks, Somer. I'm actually trying to use my Canon camera I have. Just need to get my mom to let me use her laptop for uploading my videos. I've practicdd a little with it and it's so much better.

Aww, just keep going Alexandria. You're doing great so far! :)
