Starting a group channel!

Hello, hello!

Well ladies and gentlemen, I am considering starting up a group YouTube channel and also trying to make a business from it. Whatever is said next please don't take it wrong, nor think I am stuck up or anything I donate to charities regularly!

So I was thinking I might "try" and create a channel where people could travel with me and I will show them what they need and make sure they're safe from start to finish - 18 year old's and over unless accompanied by an adult. I will have proper documents such as CRB and they will be their on their own account so I shouldn't require public liability insurance unless it becomes a business.

What I would do is take people on the travels I have, all they would require is spending money and items - Maybe they're scared to solo travel or just need some motivation, I have solo traveled the UK and next year I am doing Europe. I was thinking it would be a great way to get like-minded people together and enjoy themselves while making friends. I know it's been done, but hey it's always good to have more than one of the same business.

So yeah, a group where people get together, not just YouTubers but people who reach out to fellow travelers for advice and tips on how to travel in groups or solo. I want to travel all day everyday and I will come wherever, with whoever. I am very open-minded, very kind, polite and very, very, very relaxed.

I earn a decent amount of money working at my current job (44+ hours a week) and I can help others travel if they are struggle a little bit for money (I can do all the driving or arrange travel) and it's a dream of their's to do it!

Would you say this is a bad idea, or a good idea?

:):D

I think the group travel aspect could be complicated to organise and a bit of a legal nightmare in terms of insurance and stuff. Maybe a better idea would be you travel on your own and on your first video, you give out your rough itineray for the next few days and invite Ytubers from those locations to meet up, have a drink, dinner, or show you around for a couple of hours. Then you give the itinerary for the next few days...etc etc...

That would make it interactive but without all the headaches of organising group travel. At the start, you'd probably only have a few views and subs, but as you went on, that'd probably grow with people you met early on subbing and telling their friends to follow your progress around Europe or wherever. You could even find sponsors on the way by agreeing to eat at such and such a restaurant or visiting such and such a monument etc.

You are my guardian angel. I shall name you Jiminy Cricket! Haha just kidding, that is a very interesting and very smart idea. I shall definitely rethink my plans now. Thank you very much, I really appreciate that.
