Sponsorships

1 million views a month? No. Nice try. Most people gain sponsorships in gaming with around 40-50K views a video with maybe 20 a month. Way below 1 million

Given that most views on a particular video occur within a few weeks of posting, 40K views per video at 20 videos a month is 800,000 views per month and 50K per video at 20 is 1,000,000.

How exactly am I wrong?

40K-50K is on the high end. Look at half the big gamers. They get about 30K or less and are sponsored. OpTic MiDNiTE and ii Jeriicho ii are prime examples

Since we're splitting hairs...
Midnite has 820K VPM and the sponsorship will also have some to do with his proximity to Optic. And Jeriicho has a million 6 VPM. Feel free to continue to argue that 1 million views is a good benchmark for sponsorship viability if you like. I'm too tired to care any further.

MiDNiTE would be a girl...
Anyways, yes they currently do. But not all OpTic members are sponsored so that means nothing. She's been sponsored for 2 years when she barely hit 100K a month. Jeriicho has been sponsored for a year+ and he averaged 300-400K a month

When your channel can pull 1 million views in a month, then it may be appropriate to start approaching companies. It is far more likely that the company will instead approach you if you're interesting enough however.
1M views a month? lol

@OP elgato is easy to be sponsored by either i) have 3k+ subs or ii) be in Yeousch
