Splitting content between channels?

Loving YTtalk
I've been focusing on sketch comedy but of recent I've become addicted to vloggong. The sit in front of the camera type, not a summary of my day.

I'm not sure if I should upload to the same channel or make a new one just for vlogging?

Check your analytic. If the data are very different between this two type of videos better make a new channel.

From what I know of Vlogging (not too much) they normally have some element of comedy in them anyway. What exactly do you intend to vlog about?

I'd keep them together
Have it a comedy and vlog channel
Vlogs can pair up with just about any channel for me

I agree with Adam. A Comedy Vlogger channel would do much better (at least I think it would), as opposed to a Comedy channel and a Vlogging channel.

But that's just my opinion :D

Vlog and Comedy are two very similar genres that compliment each other very well.
I agree with the people above that you should keep the same channel.

I agree with people agreeing with people agreeing about keeping the two channels together in one. It also might make it easier on your upload schedule. Not one video a day for two channels. Half the work for equal the reward!

I'd also say that you might want to keep it on one channel for the moment especially if your vlogs will have comedy elements, too. Like on nigahiga's channel where even the vlogs are pure comedy.

It depends on how different it will become. I'm not sure, but it sounds like comedy and vlog might be able to live together on the same channel.

I myself made a second channel but I do feel the content of the two is too different. I started out making a tech review channel and then later on made a gaming channel. These two are in my opinion too far apart. But a comedy/vlog might work, could be much of the same audience.
