Sony Vegas, splitting file into segments

I need help with the name of the method that takes a movie that has been imported into Vegas and splits it into segments according to what it detects as being separate scenes. If you know that, I can search for how to find it in Vegas.

Or, tell me how to do this =)

I didn't find it yet but I found out that I can have Vegas open in multiple windows! I never knew that! There have been so many times in the past where that would have been very handy if I knew !
