Someone Tried to Hack Me? Safety Precautions?

I think someone just tried to get onto my YT account :O

I got 2 emails saying that my password was requested to be changed, when I didn't request that. Immediately I changed my password to someone alot more secure and added a mobile phone number to my account. Are there any other precautions to be had to make sure I'm the only person who accesses my account?

I know there was pretty much no way they would be able to do anything since they would have had to get onto my email, but still, seeing those emails was kinda freaky :(

Some people are always trying to mess stuff up for others, guess I never really understood that. Yeah, you did the right thing with the number and changing your stuff right away. I'm glad you avoided a more serious issue. You might want to make sure your check all your internet stuff and update them also. :)
