I've Got It
This is the channel I'm currently posting content on: http://www.youtube.com/user/paleovlogs
I started this new vlog channel in the beginning of December and so far it seems to be doing pretty well, but it isn't getting near the amount of subscribers or views my original channel did. (Which was this: http://www.youtube.com/user/paleosteno ) I figure that's because this channel is a bit less focused, plus I'm not getting quite the retention rate from my original sub count.
Though I guess this is also due to the fact that on my original channel I was already starting to dwindle in my activity, so I guess that could be a part of it. I do have some pretty powerful friends on youtube who are willing to help me grow my new channel with a bit of a boost. That will only get me so far though. I do need to learn what works and what doesn't for this new channel.
The main thing I'm trying to stick with is consistency. Uploading a vlog every Tuesday and Thursday, though I haven't been posting them around the same time each day. I suppose I should try sticking to a time to upload and making videos public.
I'm also trying to stick to a certain style with the banner and thumbnails. I commissioned my friend ( http://pegawolf.deviantart.com/ ) to make me some expressions of a little cartoon of myself to put in thumbnails for whatever topic I might talk about.
