Socialblade..why the lies?

Yup, over-exaggerated title again but once again its relevant :)

Basically I've had a search around and found a few threads mentioning how Socialblade runs off YouTube and there's that delay which causes lower views than there are. However I haven't seen a thread about Socialblade increasing views??

Take a look at this image:

View attachment 5026

This shows my daily views at +238 and monthly at over 7000. I'm pretty sure I don't reach that at all as my YouTube one shows the last 30 days at 5000. So although I'm flattered that Socialblade wants to show me more views and such, is it a big lie and I'm not reaching that at all. Anyone had an increase before instead of a decrease? :)
hahahaha mine used to be the opposite but only with subs. I was gaining 3 to 5 subs a day, so the average should habe been 3 at the lowest, but it still showed me gaining 2. However now my sub rise (since I quit putting out videos) has dropped to lower than 2 a day, I don't even know what social blade says it is now lol

It doesn't matter. YouTube or SocialBlade are both close enough because like Joe said, SocialBlade IS giving you the YouTube stats. You can tell whether you're growing or not and that's all that REALLY matters. YouTube is accurate over a period of time, just not on the daily/weekly sometimes.

What could have happened is that you had one of those days where YouTube removed 2000 views for some weird auditing thing and then added them back. That makes SocialBlade show it as GAINING that many views during that month even though you lost the same amount first.

Thanks for that, I'll stick with both just wondered exactly what would be causing it :D

30 days?
Youtube dashboard: 6,930
Socialblade: 12,657

I call BS because it shows the period between February 25th and April 15th :|
My YouTube Analytics don't show anything unless it's at least 3 to 4 days old and it's not accurate until about 2 weeks.

Could be why the delay on SocialBlade as well. It's a problem with YouTube's reporting.

you can try vidstatsx.com i think its more accurate. I don't use socialblade except if i wanna see how much the top youtubers are making lol. are those numbers legit?

Think their just estimates really but I think they will be pretty close really, they won't know for sure though as each channel is different :) I like Socialblade more but I'll just use all three and average it out
