Socialblade...Am I doing something wrong?

I'm new to this forum and somewhat of a technophobe.

I read about socialblade on some of the threads and thought "hmmm...that sounds pretty amazing, I think I'll give it a go".

Well I've signed up and tried to compare my channel with some of my competitors. Socialblade can see the history of my competitors channels but shows my channel as having just started today - and rather more worryingly as having no future growth. I enclose a screenshot to show what I mean. My channel, the redline, just flatlines until todays date and then shoots up.

As anybody else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Styxie, I wondered if that was the case, although it picked up my competitors histories immediately which seemed odd (unless they too are already on socialblade I suppose).

I actually live really really close to one of the top yacht refurb centers in the world (or so i'm told..)

Yea, chances are those channels are already in the SB database. It constantly crawls YouTube but as you can imagine, with the sheer amount of channels, it takes a long time to update.
And if only! All my friends who have yachts complain non-stop about the upkeep price..And they aren't half as large as the ones on your channel!

Thanks Styxie. I just checked out your channel - English accent so you must be on the south coast if you are near a yacht refurb shipyard.

Your friends are right - they cost a fortune to run. But the fun of owning one!!!!!!!

Socialblade records the history from the moment you submit your channel. So I don't think it will ever be able to see your channel's past history (unless they updated something).

Nope, not really. Because you'll have a wealth of numbers information a few months from now. It's pretty neat from a numbers geek standpoint. But everything (especially earnings) need to be taken with a grain of salt!
