Once YouTube switches to the new design and gives everyone a banner and all the channels are identical, what exactly will be the benefits of full partnership? :confused: I am not a full partner yet, though I've considered applying to fullscreen which everyone seems to love.

Will it just be better ad revenues and better video exposure?

Maybe some of you fullcreen partners can help with this one?

Potential for more money and better support. Licenses for those who game and do music covers. I have never watched a video or subscribed to a channel because of a background, banner, or avatar, so I think branding is somewhat overrated-and I would never sign up with a network just to get branding options. But it did make the channel pages look better.

I agree that content is much more important, and I also agree that the channels did look better.

I appreciate the answer. Good information. I am curious though, I am going to do some music covers, so what kind of licencing are you referring to? Will it be fair use? Monetizable?

Many networks have a deal with publishers to allow you to monetize music covers without any copyright issues (the song has to be on their list). I know Fullscreen has FAM (Fullscreen Artist Mix) and I think Maker has Maker Music Network. Not sure about the other networks. Just email them and ask if you have any questions.
