So people are selling their YouTube channels

I know it's stupid they follow or subbed to the account cause the previous owner unless he cheated or somthing but once owners change its probably gonna lose all subs /followers

What are these channels that you speak of? How much growth do they have and what type of channels are they? Sounds to me like a scam. I've been hearing about people sub and view botting channels lately and selling those channels off to others. Thing is, it's against the TOS on YouTube to sell a channel. I'm not sure if purchasing a channel is against TOS but I suppose it doesn't matter after it's up for sale.

I assume the buyers knows what they are doing. I could assume they take over channels to get the continuous ads income. They might take over channels because they want to continue an concept.

I've seen some youtube accounts for sale for x amount of subs. It's the stupidest thing I ever heard of lol

It is pretty pointless. Sure, you end up with a lot of subscribers at first, but they potentially won't even care about your content and unsubscribe, Or the most likely thing is they are fake accounts that are subscribed to the account.
