ALL the youtubers that are popular now are eventually going to stop making videos for some reason or another (I know, it's sad DX I'm gonna miss alot of them!!). Then I thought about who is going to take their place, per se. The general population is going to want to be entertained by people they find funny, people they can connect with, so they're going to elect more 'youtube sensations'. However, they're probablly not going to be from the same age group. So, if Youtube were to continue for a long time there would be 2nd Generation Youtubers, which sounded really weird to me. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

true it has already happened so yeah as long as you stay with them in a few years or a bit longer it will be your turn. Its just like.a waiting line but some people manage to jump it.

I'll believe it! With the rate you're going now I wouldn't be supprised in the least! :) :D
 
This philosophy is crazy but extremely true!
Most will retire from youtubing and hopefully a second gen will come in, meaning us xD

Just gotta wait another 5 years for that too happen haha
 
It's like a line, but a line at the DMV. Some of us get to the front and get sent back to fill out more forms and then we have to line up at another kiosk. Then once we get close the front they shut down for the day haha.

I think it's progression. Current YouTubers may quit or move onto bigger mediums like TV and movies. There's always up and coming channels and very underrated channels too. I don't think it'll be a different age group. If you mean will the teens take over the adults or something...
