Slowly Getting Recognized

I've seen many threads where people want tips on how to get popular or recognized really quickly. The thing is, there is no magic formula to make yourself get loads of subscribers in a couple of weeks or months. Sure you can get a shoutout, I guess that can help really well, but you'll get huge loads of haters than if you decided to start small and slowly grow.

I'll leave this post simply as:

A YouTube channel is like a plant. You must water it every now and then, allowing it to grow slowly, and sometimes letting your neighbors help out by switching fertilizers so your plant can get new things to obtain and absorb. A plant can not grow in one day and must need care and time to see the day of blooming

Couldn't agree with you more. Most people now a days just assume that they will instantly get a bunch of views and subscribers. They need to learn that time will become your best friend. Oh and that being patient is probably more important than you realize.

Thank you, friend! Most of the people I know (and a few of my friends I record with) do not understand that. I came to David (nopantzmegee's) house one day, and when I told him how proud I was to have made it to 14 subs, he just laughed and said "That's not enough!" He quit youtube after not becoming big in 6 days, and that is not why you should start youtube in the first place. I feel proud of where I have gotten in a week: and I feel like the only way I can go is up.

I see so many people on youtube,yttalk and other forums asking how to get views and subs fast. But the thing is, the key to youtube is patience, interacting with the community, talking to the subs you have, and growing a steady following. If I ever manage to get big, I want to be the guy known for how nice and amazing he is to the community, and if I don't, that's okay, because I enjoy doing it and am glad someone, at least one person enjoys the adventures of me and my friends.

Looks like you all know how to get big already. The key things to getting somewhere on YT are patience, consistency, determination, and time.

That's exactly how it works. Even the big channels had to do this. Although they may have done it a bit faster, with good quality content and a bit of luck you can become known as well.
