Slow Channel Growth!

Spudster100

YTtalk Mad
Hello,

For some reason my channel is growing slowly to the goal I want to get to (10,00 sub in the long run)

it's been 2 months and I have almost 100 subscribers and 3,799 video views I guess this is good but my daily views are also dropping by 50% not sure what this means and if this is normal for a channel in it's early stages and what can I do to keep the channel up.

I do upload daily and 97 videos in 2 months should be doing a bit better. Ive seen channels with only 2 videos and there go 17,00 views and good comments not sure how they did that.

Hoping to get some directions so I can keep up the good work!

I have been working hard like A video everyday or sometimes secound day to have a small rest like today i'm doing something else and tomorrow I make a video.
Thanks all

- Your thumbnails are not engaging at all, you need to make custom ones.
- Your username is not brandable at all, why on Earth are there numbers in it?
- Pumping out daily videos is possibly going to annoy the few loyal fans you have, not to mention burn out your creativity
- It looks like you're doing the exact same thing as every other gamer, play something else or do it differently

1: Some thumbnails I good others are not like the GTA video is A custom and unique one need to get every video with A thumbnail to look like that ive been told by A few people don't make every video with A thumbnail

2: Yeah blame YouTube I tried to change it and YouTube has denied it even by contacting them and it's not A username it's a vanity url The channel name is Spud Gaming wish i could of changed the url to that.
3: I see a lot of you tubers pump out daily content that's how they got big for example angry joe does it every second day and back when he had like 1000 subs (seen it by the wayback machine)

4: That;s because there the most trending games going around at the moment and I like them need to love what i'm doing to get the video to turn out good but I could do some different game so I do see your point there. Ive done a few different video that got 119 views which is good "The History Of GTA" the COD went alright but not as good

Thanks for your feedback!

@ARTFXSTUDIOS I think it's going good as will seems I am sort of new at growing A channel just checking that way I can head in the right direction ;)[DOUBLEPOST=1392287006,1392286501][/DOUBLEPOST]
Don't worry, your channel is only two months old so you're doing pretty well.
How often should I be pumping out content?

(your channel seems to be big so you would have more experience i'm learning the curves)

As a start I would put out one or two videos a week and make sure that it's the best you can possibly make. A week time will make your videos much better, and tbh, nobody is going to watch a new youtube channel every single day. So this way you'll probably end up losing viewers since they will easily get bored. I started doing one video a week almost two years ago, brought that up to 3 videos a week right now. Last two weeks have been less active for me, but that's because I've re-designed my channel's website and am now setting up my second channel and website.

Ok Thanks ;)

Might be able to do a video every saturday and sunday then until it grows to 10,00 eventually one day it will as I am working to aim for that I can do A video every second day.
I know a lot of you tubers that got big by posting almost everyday or second day :/

Only thing that is bothering me is the url I don't want it to be gamertv273 it loks un-professional but you tube is not allowing me to change it which is sort off wrong.

Thanks!

Everybody get's a chance to claim their custom URL once, so you need to pick a good one since you can't change it afterwards.

Everyones slow growing, no one just comes on and BAM 1 mill subs expecially if you're only 2 months old with only 97 videos, ive been on here for over a year with 330, and most of them are afk with 368 videos and little views, so point is it takes a long time to get seen.

Good point everything takes time ;)

I don't give up easily anyway should get to my goal eventually.

Looked at some channels from the wayback machine they had a slow growth first off.[DOUBLEPOST=1392364214,1392292237][/DOUBLEPOST]Lost a few subscribers for not uploading

Your channel is too young to judge your growth. It's growing slowly because it's a new channel.. it's normal.
