What does that even mean?! "I got the idea from YT since I 'm subscribe (sic)......"

Yeah, you copied him.
I thought that was funny too lol.

I completely agree xD There has even been quite a few times where I came up with an idea that was original and we went out to shoot it... but then a bigger YouTuber releases MY IDEA so instead of posting up the same thing I just go and plan something new lol. "Unfortunately this has happened to me more times than I'd like to admit"

We actually released a video a couple of weeks ago that we thought was an original idea.
Couple weeks later, a big youtuber uploaded a similar video that had the same idea as us.
Bam.
We became the ones who copied them cause more people watch them haha.
Its kind of annoying but... what're you gonna do... I guess.

Okay, I understand that there is so much content on youtube, you're bound to do the same video topic as someone else. And as vloggers, this is quite common. It's fine to do a video on the same topic someone else does, as long as you make it your own... though some people go all out to completely copy the person.

I found this video, and it sounded very familiar... I did a quick search of the video I thought it reminded me of, and guess what I found? Pretty much the same video...

BE UNIQUE PEOPLE. DON'T COPY OTHERS.
This gives me an idea... I am going to do a video on how to tell if a guy likes you.

Oh boy, I guess this is just another example that shows that there are two types of YouTubers: The ones that are in it for the fun and who love creating things, and the ones who are in it for the attention and the "likes" etc. Sometimes it's hard to tell which type a person is, but yeah, in this case it's pretty obvious. Was he really thinking nobody would find out? It's the internet, c'mon.

But how can they accuse you of copying when the upload date pretty much says it all?

That's what always amuses me when this happens. People seem to think "Oh the internet is huuuge, I'll never get found out." doh

I once caught someone who had copied my website design. I clicked on view source and the code was identical. Guess how I found out? Well the guy was so stupid that he didn't even think to copy my images to his own server. So he was hotlinking all my images from his server and so his stolen version of my site was showing up in my referrals report on my webserver. I ran a whois report and called up the owner of the domain name and threatened him with legal action. It turns out the domain owner had just received an invoice from the "programmer" of the site lol. I don't think that invoice was going to get paid

Sorry, sorry! Its very late right now and my minds really starting to wander around!
I wasn't really specific.
Don't get me wrong the big youtubers I mentioned never accused us at all. They probably don't even know we have something similar.
I'm just saying there are many times when if a big group were to do something that a small group had already done, people that see that small group after watching the big group will simply say the small group copied the big group. @_@
You might think that doesn't happen but I've seen it done before.
And I hear people complaining about it even more lol.
The "Trolls" will always side with the one they like better.
