Should you try to answer every comment????

Hi guys I'm pretty new to YT and I just signed up for this forum yesterday. My channel is somewhat successful and I have always tried to answer all my comments. The problem is as my channel has got bigger I find it completely consuming my day. What are your guys thoughts and strategies on answering your comment section ??

I will always answer every comment until there are too many to answer. If you're getting too many to answer just focus on making content and replying when you can or just to specific comments. Having too many comments to reply too is a good thing so don't worry about it too much :)
 
How many comments are you talking? I think just do it to a reasonable degree, and I don't think you have to reply to every comment that is just a simple "Great vid!" and stuff like that
 
Ashley, I'm getting anywhere from 1200-2400 per day. I love interacting with my subs because without them I wouldn't have a channel. I used to answer them in the morning, at lunch, in the evening and before bed but now I'm to the point I'm getting a hundred or more every hour. It's really eating at me because I'm almost to the point that answering comments is all I do.

Oh my gosh, that's so many! I totally agree with what you're saying. Maybe it would help if you set a time for yourself each day to reply to comments for just half an hour, and only on your most recent video?
 
You most certainly should unless its obvious a spammy one. Your comment will show your subscribers you care. Always reply back to them rather you're simply saying thanks or not.
 
I like replying to the comments. It makes me feel so good and it develops the connection between me and the viewers. But if I get too popular, I will try my best to reply to each comment.
 
I reply to all but then I only get 10 or so a day.
1200-2400 daily is just not possible. If it was me I would stay online for an hour after my latest video uploads and try to answer some of those only.
