Should you post videos in 1080p?

If you upload tons of videos then do 720p. If your pc has a fast rendering time then do 1080p

My pc isn't so fast and I upload atleast 5 videos a week (hopefully), so I guess 720p will do for now. Thanks![DOUBLEPOST=1376756576,1376756553][/DOUBLEPOST]
I kinda upload it both ways. I upload it in 720p if its going to be a ordinary video i always post. But if its like a special video (like a thankyou video for 25 subbs) then i would upload it in 1080p.
Really good idea! Thanks!

Look at the majority of videos that were uploaded when YouTube first started. They don't look so pretty today. If you have the ability to go 1080p, there's no real reason not to. Your videos will be much more palatable in the future.

Definitely. In a way, you're "future-proofing" your video quality (assuming, of course, that the render quality is actually any decent).

That said, you should definitely upload in AT LEAST 720p. One thing is the obvious benefit of better quality for your viewers, but the other benefit is that YouTube prefers to rank HD videos higher (when realistically possible), than non-HD videos (which makes sense - promote the best content).

I see. Thanks!

I say make video's in the highest resolution possible. While most watch on computers, so may watch on TV's and that extra resolution really screams quality.

I upload in 2048p (really i just upscale the 1080p to that). It allows me to get the "original quality" option in my videos, which gives it a much better bitrate/improved quality when played back.
