Should I try for a network?

Should I try and partner up? Also, what partner would you recommend? I have over 9,000 hits on my channel and 39 subscribers if that matters. A couple of side questions are

A. Does it add any extra restrictions on my content, which is controversial in nature
B. Does a partner bring more views/advertise their channels?
C. Do I have to meet any extra requirements after being partnered, like a certain amount of videos or views?

A. YouTube puts restrictions, not the network.
B. networks do not do anything to bring you any significant help.
C. No

Just as a little side-note for B, some networks will offer Some help. No guarantees. Though you should definitely look into networks that DO offer promotion.

Fullscreen offers some promotion on their hub channels.

I just left Fullscreen. I'm not a gaming channel but I was stuck in the gaming hub because they didn't have a vertical for toys. You should see all of the complaints from the gamers about how FS gaming hub was a joke.

Yes, networks may give some help but my point was that they don't do any significant help. Not enough to make it worth the percentage of revenue that they keep.

I beg to differ. I used to be a moderator on the Yeousch forums (back when Yeousch was still a subnetwork under Fullscreen). I have helped many partners alike with their content and many of them gained a significant following from posting high quality content up. (Emphasis on quality. It's the most important aspect of uploading to hubs).

There can be a significant payoff for uploading to these hub channels and often times can end up giving you more subscribers and views.

How many of the bunch stay active is a different story. Though I've seen audiences grow quite a bit through network hub channels and it can help tremendously! It's just a matter of doing it right.
