Should i put my old videos on private?? Need help!!

When i was 1st doing videos on Youtube over a year ago i thought my 1st ever videos was good but as time goes on and on in that time my videos are getting better and better and better over time.

Now comparing to my recent videos, i think my 1st ever videos i uploaded on Youtube are crap, terrible and boring to me and i'm sure lots of people will agree and sure a few people will still enjoy watching it but the majority of people won't enjoy watching my 1st ever videos.

And my 1st ever videos are not being watched anymore and the majority people that go onto my Youtube channel will watch my recent videos rather then watch my 1st ever videos so there is no point of keeping my 1st ever videos public.


Anyway i can always remake/redo my 1st ever videos in the future which it will be in way way way better quality and a lot more more enjoyable to watch!

So i am thinking just for my Youtube channel and my Youtube career sake should i private my 1st ever videos or keep it public??

What do you think? What would you do everyone??

I've decided I want to keep my older videos up, so that people will be able to see how far I've come as I continue to grow, but it's really your choice if you want to remove it or not.

I've also decided to keep my older videos up. Some I have private but most are still public.

If you do decide that you don't want them public, what you don't want to do is delete them. This way, if you find out later that somebody stole your video, you have your original upload date to prove your case/claim.

I like to keep mine up to show how far I've come, I enjoy seeing what people made when they first started and the mistakes they corrected along the way.

Same with mine, which is another reason why I haven't tried to improve them. I've already covered the content so my subscribers won't be looking to see the same video again. If no one is watching it nobody's going to be making judgements about you based on it.
I can understand your point but equally by making it private there's less chance for potential viewers to find you. Just my two cents, if it's something that feels right to you, go for it.

Well look at it like this....first vids are a good guidance to see how far you have come in your YT career. Plus people do occasionally come back and wonder exactly where some of the big names come from. Its always your choice to make a video private or not.

I will keep them up as long as not a bunch of people complains about them.

I wouldn't put a bunch of them private all at once, for every new upload you post I would put one video on private just because that way your channel looks like it has a good amount of library available.
