Should I Make a Video Schedule?

As of right now I just post videos as they come to me, but should I do them on certain days of the week? Are there any benefits of doing that?
 
I think posting on certain days of the week is something that helps because your viewers know when to expect another video and can be there that day to get it started with a boost of views. If you post randomly, they will most likely check weekly for any videos and so your views will be spread out.

If you are aiming to hopefully get a viral video, you want loads of views coming in at a similar time. :D

you should have a schedule, it becomes consistent and subscribers get used to it so they know when to expect your uploads.
 
Well we used to just post when we got the ideas.. now we have a schedule.. since we got on a schedule our views and subscribes have increased.
Schedules work, which is why Networks have used them for years. People like a routine, they like to know when something is coming.

I have been struck for time so I haven't really had a schedule
 
I used to just upload as I felt like it, but now I'm trying to stick to a schedule (major life changes put a hold on that for a while, but I'm getting back into the swing of things now :)). I've definitely noticed more views and subscribers when uploading regularly every week. I know a lot of people have said on here that one reason they'll unsubscribe from a channel is if the person doesn't upload very often or regularly. Keeping with a schedule decreases the chance of this happening to you. :)
 
We started using this big calendar thing on a dry erase board. It honestly made us more productive than we thought we were capable of being lol. So now we have a set schedule on when we write, shoot, promote, etc. Its a neat idea to keep everything organized. I have never EVER called anything "neat" in that context. Let's not bring this up ever again...
 
Schedules are meant to keep your audience hooked, if you don't have a lot of subs yet then work on your schedule so when the big subs come in you won't find it hard to keep up with the schedule. I upload a video every monday, no matter what. And if I can't I let everyone know why, even though I don't have that many subscribers.
 
Make schedules. Seriously.
Being lazy and uploading whenever you feel like it doesn't help.
Just don't be TOO consistent either.
