Should I just quit? :/

i felt the same exact way two years ago ... but i realized that i couldn't give a flying f*** about the people that criticize me. If people at my school watch me then i don't really mind. If they like em, good for em. Don't quit if you enjoy what your doing. If you find it embaressing then you may not be too confident about your content. Work on making great content, and people will come. And stop checking your sub and view count often. It'll do nothing but discourage you.. i use to check constantly. Just find different ways to measure success to have fun with it.

Im actually learning how to quit checking my counts, I came from doing it every hour to about a couple times a day.

In your situation, I think that this would be a good idea. You have nothing to lose and you don't have to tell the people that you know about the new channel.
 
Let me tell you something very important: if you live your life according to the expectations of others, you will regret it. You will feel unfulfilled and ultimately, unhappy.

If you genuinely enjoy doing this, do not stop. And don't let your friends/family affect the content of your videos in a negative way.

yeah its hard, but necesary to enjoy what you're doing. I went from 1 each hour or so that i was awake, to a few times a week. Feels great :D
 
Well you must have already done it because I clicked your account and found no videos at all. That sucks that you actually did restart.

It feels a hell of a lot better, im more focused on the videos I create instead of worrying about my counts. Every hour it dont move so it disappoints us which turns to some of us wanting to quit.

I checked for comments, not views. And even then, my views wouldn't move after the first day of uploading.
