I've Got It
I doubt many of you remember me, but I'm Ayo, and I used to have a channel named: The Avegatebros. Some of you may remember that I shut it down because I was made fun of at school, and it was basically wrecking my life. I made a new channel, told nobody about it, and it's doing well. However, it's a gaming channel, and I miss making vlogs, but I dont know what the point is, and I have no motivation to start again. So I have two questions:

1. Should I give up?

2. Will anyone help me?
 
Theres about 2 things that I would say to you, being that I'm new to being a YouTuber and new to this community, you can take from it what you will...

1- NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP! You will find success if you keep at it. This is something that people tell me all the time and I try to make the best of it. Even if I make a video and its not viewed that much or not received as well as I would like it to be, theres always another day and another video to make.

2- If you're making gaming videos, hop over to my channel and see if you are interested in any of the games I play with others. I would LOVE to work with you on something, if you're interested!

First off, i said it before and i will say it again, if what you do on youtube "Ruined" your life, your doing something wrong, people who make fun of others are jealous of that persons freedom to do what they like and are trying to make you feel like they are. Do what you love, and love doing it, f**k ANYONE WHO DISAGREES, next time they want you to care about their opinions, make sure they know they better start paying you. Be a guy, not an ******* but a guy, no one can make me take down my content,

I did a skit about being gay(im not gay) and my father had a problem with it, i told him and i quote "Pay me to take it down, because im being paid to keep it up".

I had a problem similar to this when I first started my first channel on YouTube. My good friends were always supportive, but they would be supportive of basically anything I do (as long as it not drugs or something like that) Some other kids at my school found out about my channel, and they watched a bunch of my videos in class one day. (some blowoff class where the teacher didn't care). For about a week people made fun of it, and it was hell. I thought about how to go about it, and eventually I came up with a plan (sort of). When someone would bring it up, I would just say, "Remember, there are around 100 people (I had about 100 subs at the time) in the world who would recognize me and know who I am, but I would never have a clue who they are. It's like i'm famous to 100 people". After this, some of them thought it was cool, and others thought I was just dumb. At that point, I went to my backup plan. I said, "Look at your bank account. Now look at mine. The only reason that mine has 10 times as much money in it as yours does is because I do what I love every single day, while you spend every day trying to be popular in school, which has zero gain in the long run". After that, everyone became pretty supportive. :) I have never really been in it for the money, but it helps to shut people up. Another thing I did was I got the great opportunity to befriend a channel with 100k subs, and I showed them our Skype conversation. They acted like I was best friends with a celebrity. (I barely knew him, but hey it worked!) Hope this helps, and never give up on your dreams because someone else tells you to. Good luck!

Don't let them control you, and you can forget about them in no time ;)
