Should i Disable comments ?

Tags/SEO is really easy. If you are doing a Blops video and you're talking about (for example) taking exams at school, there are SO many tags you could add that are legit, and will draw people in. It takes some practice and perhaps a bit of research but with the right tags you'll draw in proper traffic that actually wants to comment on your vid to say they enjoyed it.

No, it often looks tacky, and if people get hate comments just ignore them, they will eventually go away, and you can often learn from some comments which may seem hurtful

you SHOULDNT disable comments because negative or positive it gets the chat going and encourages others to comment xx

Well let's say you go with the example I gave above: a Black Ops 2 gameplay video with a post commentary about difficult exams at school. You could use tags like:

Difficult exams, GCSE, A Level, Finals, Exam paper, black ops 2, microsoft, gameplay, commentary, post commentary, let's play

I could go on but these are just some examples. Think about what people might type into a search engine. If you are doing a post commentary about passing exams, type in 'how to pass exams' as a tag. It all helps, and it's all legit so you get the right audience

It is worth noting as well that using fake tags can potentially get your channel banned from YouTube (it's against their Terms of Service)
