Should Google create an ad limit policy?

Found it here: https://twitter.com/InTheLittleWood/status/439734616996728832 "1.5mil views were monetized properly our of 4-5 million views."
It's actually mostly to do with YouTube's poor fill rate not adblock, adblock usage is actually a very small percentage, certainly no more than 10% on any channel I've ever seen.[DOUBLEPOST=1394342527,1394342425][/DOUBLEPOST]
I see no reason why google should save people from their own stupidity. If someone wants to kill their channel by placing too many ads on their videos, they should be free to do it.
Agreed, I think there is some limits in place but if someone wants to lose all views and destroy their watch time by placing mid-rolls everywhere then let them :p

Google can always create a similar or better system than Hulu's system. Hulu has an anti-ad-blocker system. If you're using an ad-blocker then you must wait longer to watch the video.
As long as it doesn't effect people who just have it installed. I know of sometimes that wouldn't allow me to even use them just because I had adBlock installed, turning it off didn't allow me to use the site either. Peronsally what I think should be done is the companies who do ads should just give creators actual videos to put in their videos. I'm pretty sure it's probably already being done but it's like watching TV, there will be ad breaks. But YouTube would need a rule in place that you could only do 1 ad per video for that type of thing because obviously people could fill the video with ads since viewers would have to watch it anyways.

Never heard about that happening. No more than 2-3, but thats rare to see that. Ad limit sounds good though. Like a balence including pre roll. Like if you have preroll than minus 1 in video.
I seen it on stuff like an incredibly long video.
The other day I had an urge to watch some starcraft, and the video was 1:50:00 minutes long, and after every match, there was a small ad running.

I will be honest, seeing how long the video was, I do not have a problem with that. 1 add (or 1 add at the beginning or end of a single video) per 15-20 minute video, is fine by me.

And if a video is 1:50:00 long, and has multiple matches in it, well he could have split it into separate videos, and I would have watched those adds anyway.

I hate that in the littlewoods twat, he is the sort of person i would love to just b***h slap

If someone wants to put 7 ads on their video let them, people will just stop watching their vids, the most i ever see is 3 or 4 ads in a video but thats the co optional podcast and is usually a 3 hour video so you cant really complain about that one.

I think it's terrible when people have 4 ads on one 20 minute video. Most of them already have great views and it's totally b******t I have to watch 2 commercials in a tutorial video... When I see people being that greedy I mostly unsubscribe, screw you guys, I'm going home.
