Rough Patches/Dry spells

Does anyone else have any 'dry spells' where you have a great week or two of gaining subs then go down to maybe 1-2 or even none for days?

This seems to happen to us, we did quite well and were gaining around 10-20 subs a day but then missed an upload and now we are down to 1-2 subs daily with little views compared to the large boost.

JUst curious if i should be worried or just keep producing content and hope this will pass.
 
I've been getting pretty consistent growth for the last few months. I have had a couple of dry spells though. I remember when I was at around 150 subs, I lost 3 in a day. I was devastated lol. I gained 290 in one day about 2 weeks ago, from a comment I left on a video. I've lost probably 12 of those over time. But I'm still growing, and I've just come to accept that losing subs is part of the course. Still don't like it, as I feel like I've let that sub down in some way, but it's silly to get het up about it. I'd say you're doing very well, and just keep grinding away. Oh and I've also missed schedules and not uploaded when I should have. Mainly because life gets in the way some times ☺
 
Absolutely happens to everyone, I think. I definitely have weeks where I fell like, "This is it! This is where my channel starts taking off!" and then...it stops and moves a little backwards. The most important thing to me is making sure that I just keep at what I'm doing and find ways to improve on it and reach more people more consistently.
 
I think that's me constantly, I gain subs very very slowly haha, I did have a spell about a year ago where I was gaining like 30 subs a month for 3 or so months, thats the best I've ever done... Pretty slow all around other than that.
I guess it happens to everyone!

Lol, mine just get a few views then stop forever. Not even joking. The ones that don't are using Google Adwords or I got lucky with search toping (like my Sonic Unleashed Fail Compilation). The game I use doesn't really seem to effect the count either. Well, maybe a little. My Star Fox Zero playthrough did ok.
