RIP Youtube...

if its against the law, it doesnt matter what i say lol, but nice that you said pewdiepie, he could do vlogs and still be uber famous ,trust me on that.

He would loose half his fanbase, which are the guys subscribed to watch him play games and suck at them.

When various companies give you permission and clearly state that they're okay with people making videos using their games and yet Youtube still brings them down, it's quite infuriating.

Most people that are doing it don't just record the game, they also commentate over it which although shouldn't be that difficult, it can get tiring if you do it for 2 hours in a row and then you can't even upload it.
i feel your pain, honestly, and it may seem a bit harsh, but youtube is trying not to become megaupload(gone), if you understand me, they are doing a lot to try and keep the site alive without breaking any laws....to be honest all this was in the terms of service that most people didnt read.

It's understandable. But if the company that owns the rights to the game is okay with it, who exactly is Youtube afraid of?

There are even fake companies coming in to claim videos just to get the revenue.. Such as... THQ claiming a video from DSPGaming last night, and THQ is DEAD.

idk bro bro, but thats just their approach on it, we wont know exactly what will happen in january but maker studios, machinima and some others are still protected as long as you do commentaries and dont use videogame music, not much of a change.

That was not aimed at you, but most people who like gaming youtubers do not want to watch vlogs.. They want to see somebody fail at games.
understood, i just took it personally, even though i dont vlog XD, sorry i dont see the point in taping my real life.

We'll see, I guess. Again, Youtube always screws up with features at first then end up making them better (or they just screw something else and we forget about the last thing). Sorry if I sounded rude to you or insulted your content, not my intention.

I am watching DSPGaming's video on this right now. Well.. I am pretty shocked. I don't understand why YouTube thinks this is a good idea.

Also, it would seem like fake companies can flag.
