RIP Youtube...

Some gamers will move to other platforms. By no means most or all, but some will. Honestly, this is a good thing all around. Maybe we'll see DailyMotion and Vimeo step it up. Maybe even Twitch will start allowing for prebuilt content, not just streaming. More competition in the video hosting market is a good thing and the more mistakes Google makes, the more opportunities there are for other guys.

no clearly he knows what's up this DKmariolink guy. Without YouTube video games wouldn't sell. Because #logic.
That is why games didn't sell back in the 80s its because people weren't making sh***y let's plays of them.
Yeah, and as a Youtube gamer, I don't plan on quitting, ever really. Youtube is a pretty awesome place, regardless of what update they roll out, there are countless people who care about you and the videos you make. It also pays really well if you make it, and it's not much "work" when it's your hobby and you enjoy doing it.

I don't see big time Youtuber's quitting anytime soon, regardless of whether they're let's players or whatever.

The only thing is you can't monetize videos (Correct me if I'm wrong) I won't be doing youtube for money, but for fun. It's what I think a lot of people are going to be doing. I don't think the update was thaaat horrible. Only the thing about big channels getting the most attention, but that'll probably be changed soon.

you're incorrect, their security about airtight for NON managed channels is now higher than ever.
