Ridiculous uploading time

My video says it's going to take 200+ minutes to upload, is this an error or something? That doesn't seem right to me as its only about an 8 min video at the most.

Probably an error to YouTube, try compressing your videos maybe? Use a program called Handbrake, it's free and super easy to use.

Yeah specify the file size, if you use FRAPS if you game, that takes up a heck of a lot of MBs and takes ages to upload.

I would check the file size and the format you are uploading in. Personally I think that MP4s are the most supported upload type. If you are uploading from a program like Ae or Sony Vegas try rendering in H.264 MP4 (lower file size but good quality) if that still takes too long try out smaller formats (wmv?) also it might just be your upload speed.

Maybe it's too big for your internet, I have uploaded videos from 1GB and it didn't take me 200+ minutes so it could be somehting else.

That's always a possibility, My older brother uses wifi on his tablet, ipod and ps3 and psp so...yeah
