Hi all.
I did just post this video in another part of the forum but I just noticed we can ask here for reviewing and feedback on a specific video here, which is what we were looking for. Sorry.
But here it is anyway, our latest sketch was a parody trailer of the Academy Award nominated film Her.
Would love to know what you all think of it, whether it was funny enough, got across our points, whether the thumbnail is a good enough attention grabber, just anything that comes to mind, let us know. We're just looking on ways to better our videos for the future, so any criticism, good or bad, we will be grateful for the feedback! I hope you enjoy! Thanks in advance.

 
Well, right off the bat I'm going to say that for me the w**k joke didn't stretch far enough.

It was filmed really well and it looked great. I was intrigued right from the start, then the guy met Pamela and it was really funny, I laughed anyway, I thought the next bit could have been shorter because at the end of the day a w**k joke isn't really funny enough to cover that much space and the little visual gags were not quite enough in my opinion. Then the guy stuck his tongue out at Pamela and when she stuck her tongue back at him I almost lost my s**t, that was a glorious touch.

All in all though I thought the video was well above the average and what I've said might even be considered harsh. I really liked it.

Thank you! Didn't come across harsh at all. I understand what you mean about the timing of the final shot and if it had that big enough impact to close the video. I completely agree with everything you said here (we did discuss a few of these points when we came to edit). I'm glad you have said this because it helps us figure out how to structure our videos with it's jokes so that we have complete attention of our audience. Many thanks and I'm glad you got a laugh out of it!
 
I thought the ending was alright actually, just missed something in the middle, maybe some public display of affection was in order, thats it, that would have made the whole thing.

Ohh, sorry. Yeah, I get what you mean. We felt the same way, because a lot of those shots in the middle are just like 'fillers'... like the hand outside the car window mixed with moments of entering the apartment alone, etc. We did try to stick to the official film trailer but also tried to keep our twist on it. Thanks for reviewing it, we will definitely keep the stuff you have said in mind for our next video, really appreciate it!
