Will look into the bars and come up with a test soon. Not sure if it will be better or worse overall, but it seemed like the videos always had those when recording Nintendo 64. I might be able to crop those out too for the most part, but I don't know if the quality will take a further hit, I guess if it does, it shouldn't matter too much on N64 games, which don't have great graphics anyway.
As for the questions of enthusiasm on the video, I'd have to ask you to watch my latest video (Mischief Makers Part 1), to compare, as I am genuinely enthusiastic to be playing that game in that video, and if it doesn't come across, the issue is definitely just my voice, and not my level of enthusiasm.[DOUBLEPOST=1395954790,1395952350][/DOUBLEPOST]After looking into it, there's just nothing that can be done about those bars. Creating a new video to crop them results in the max quality being terrible, and the bars still being there, they just don't get removed for some reason. And looking into other N64 videos on YouTube, I found hundreds of them, only one of them didn't have those bars on the side, and I have no idea how they did that and it seems nobody does.
Even professionals using N64 footage in their videos have those bars on the sides when the N64 footage is shown. I just never noticed it before, as I wasn't looking for it before, and it's such a minor thing to notice out of nowhere.
But the other thing I was asking remains relevant.
