Hello my name is Chris and I'm making youtube videos for a long time now and I know that a lot of youtubers just want to make money (let's ne honest) but I don't. I don't make videos because I want money. I just want to make people laugh and stuff. But it's really hard sometimes to know what people want to see when they don't leave any comments. That's my biggest problem. For example on a video I made few days ago I got 100+ views, 9 likes, 1 dislike and 0 comments. That's why I need your help to tell me what you think about my videos and what do you think what should I do to connect more with my subs? Thanks
 
Try and initiate conversation.
You could try and comment down "First! :P" on your next upload.
There are people out there (for some reason) that like to comment down the number post they are haha
If you get at least 3/5 people to comment down then new viewers will feel more comfortable to leave a comment down.

You could also comment down
"Hey guys! How are you doing?
I was just wondering what was your favorite part of the video was.
Please let me know! :)"

or

"Hey guys!
I hoped you like the video :)
Please leave any ideas in the comment section or let me know if there is anything i need to improve on!
Thanks!"

Also, when you do get a comment, reply to them and also thank them for watching.
