Requesting constructive feedback on lighting, camera angles, and intro for our video.

Hey everyone! My friends and I have been playing board games together for over 15 years, and we finally decided to start filming our sessions for a project we call Unstable Table. We aren’t trying to put on a show or be influencers. We honestly just wanted a way to remember our ridiculous antics and see if other people might enjoy hanging out at the table with us.

We're still totally figuring out the technical side of things, so I’d love to know what you think of the vibe. Does the lighting and the camera angles we’re using actually make it easy to follow what's happening on the board? I'm also thinking our intro needs to change and our instructions are way too long. Also, is the group dynamic fun to watch in a long form video, or does it feel like you had to be there? We're more about authenticity than a polished performance, so any pointers on how to make our setup look a little better would be awesome.

Open to any feedback you can give to help. Thanks!

Side note, I'm a member of our channel, not the creator so I only can do so much on my end of things but hopefully I can talk to my friend about any advice I receive.

From your description, I'd keep the intro tighter and get to the first turn faster, since the group dynamic sounds like the real hook here. For board readability, clear overhead or slightly angled shots usually help more than fancy ones, and I'd lean into authenticity over polish if that's the vibe you want. The big question is whether a new viewer can follow the game without feeling lost in the inside jokes.
