Not sure why everyone is screaming RAM, but RAM is not the biggest factor when you are rendering. It plays a role when you are editing alot more then when you are rendering. As for the hardware to buy for quick rendering its mostly your CPU. So buying a hyper threaded i7 will definitely pay off. Some applications are able to use the GPU while rendering as well. Like in my case i run SLI GTX 670 and when i allow Premiere to render with GPU it about cuts the time in half vs only CPU. If you are planning on rendering hours of full 1080p HD video id recommend I7 mixed with some serious GPU. But if you only render like 10min per day of 1080P video that you can easily settle for lower grade specs.Hey guys,
I was wondering what spec on a computer/laptop improves rendering time for your videos? Like is it RAM or Data available etc? Help would be appreciated
