Render Ratio?

Hey everyone!
Just a general question really for everyone to discuss.. what your render ratio?

By this I mean 1:2 would be 1 minute of video for 2 minutes of render time, if that makes sense?

Currently I'm on 1:3 (1 minute of final video = 3 minutes of render time)

(p.s. not sure if this goes here.. if it doesn't can a mod/admin move it? thanks <3)

Depends on the quality of the video :) if I am doing full 1080p, then a 10 minute video can take an hour. But if I am doing a 480p video of the same length, it won't take more than 7-8 minutes!

I render 1080p at just a touch over 1:1 ratio, and 720p at a little less than 1:1.

Well it depends on the video, if it`s a 720p video in Sony Vegas ~40 seconds per minute

If it`s a Raw 1080p scene in Maya3D with dynamic lighting and lots of fancy options on it could take hours to render a minute ;)
