Reduce mixed in background game noises.

Hey everyone!

I just recorded a live commentary video and I was wondering how can I reduce the game sounds on Adobe Audition CC or any other program? I currently have the Adobe Audition CC trial along with Adobe Premiere CC and PhotoShop CC trials. Now, I DO NOT have a separate mic nor do I have a capture card. I record my games via PS4 and my Turtle Beach P4C headset. The gameplay is P.T. and it's really short because I get scared easily. I was planning on leaving it as is, but the game sounds kind of drown out my voice.

How can I fix it? Which programs are best for fixing it?

P.S. I will eventually get an Elgato HD or HD60 and a Blue Microphones Snowball Plug-and-Play mic, but for right now, I need to use what I have.

I'm assuming that your commentary and system sounds are all in the same track, right? I know you can do it with adobe audition, that you can select a certain sound in the track and eliminate anything similar throughout the whole thing. There should be tutorials on selective sound removal for audition CC around youtube and other sites :)
 
@brodielawrence yeah everything is all on one track >.< I was just looking at the videos for the selective sound removal and noise reduction, but some parts are hard to get because it's mixed in with my voice. Dx

Yeah selective sound removal can be pretty tricky, so in order to avoid it try to record your commentary on a separate track when you're able to get a mic :)
 
The Turtle Beach P4c is compatible with a PC and/or Mac, you should be able to use it with a PC, and record separately with Audition or Audacity.
 
@Pentra I've tried it on my PC but nothing happened. I have an All-in-One PC and the only audio jacks I have are separate headphones and mic. I'm not sure if using a Audition or Audacity would make a difference, but I'll try it out. :D
