Recovering a username?

[LandyVlad]

I have a channel with my username as @LandyVlad_ but I would prefer to just have @LandyVlad (no underscore).
When I try that it tells me 'that username is unavailable'.
I have searched YouTube and cannot find ANY account associated with the username @LandyVlad

In 2021 I deleted a small channel which MAY have been associated with @LandyVlad (though back then I'm not even sure they had usernames in that format)

My understanding is that usernames are 'held' for 60 days but then go back into circulation, but this doesn't appear to be the case in this instance.

Does anyone know if there is a way of recovering the @LandyVlad username?

Ta.

I dont believe you will be able to get it without an underscore if its saying its unavailable. I think you can keep trying every so often to change it to that though. I wouldnt worry so much when it comes to people finding your channel, as long as theyre searching LandyVlad and you have that in your channel name and in your video tags you are likely to show up. Ill DM you a screenshot as YTtalk is broken and I cant attach it.
