Recording.

I do my recordings when my girl friend isnt home but i live next to the busiest street so its hard for me to get videos done with i have huge trucks driving by every so often i try to get mine done at around like 8am haha cause after thats its traffic and horns everywhere haha
 
I record when I feel like it . Day , night , neighbour's dogs going crazy , my girlfriend trying to argue with me .
I'm almost always tired lately ( humid german summer ) so when I'm not tired , I just record .
Neighbour's dogs don't get recorded ( they just annoy me ) and my roommates know they shouldn't disturb me while I'm playing videogames .

Yeah I do the same, that's why when I vlog I like to go places and move around because although people look at you weird in public filming, I'd much rather that than my parents getting all weird while I film haha. The video comes out a lot better when you are comfortable anyway
 
I try to record when I have free time, I just tell my folks to keep it down if they're home. I don't feel weird recording in their presence :P
 
I like to record when I'm alone, and/or when everyone else in the house is asleep.

Unfortunately I'm never home alone, and my parents don't sleep until like, 2AM, so by then I'm like, mega tired and don't want to do anything.
 
I am the same way. But if I have to record I let whoever is home know to be quiet so that there won't be any background noise. I used to be a little shy/embarrassed by it, but now I don't care. This is my passion and it should be respected :) just like anyone else who has something that they are extremely passionate about.
 
You want to try recording stuff in your garage about guns and "shooting people" while living in the UK. I swear my neighbours think I'm some sort of vigilante ex soldier that's gone a little nuts!! I don't mind recording when people are home though I always lock myself in the garage and ask/tell the wife and kids to be quiet.
 
I prefer to record when I'm alone but 90% of the time I don't have the chance, I just use soft background music that's just enough to overlap any unwanted sounds in the background. But I have no issue talking to my computer when I'm not alone, I kinda got used to it. People still think I'm weird though xD
