Recording Software's?

I need some ideas and inputs on some recording software's. I am fairly new to the whole thing and was wondering if any of you knew of any good, affordable software's for recording music?!​

Audacity. It's free and records audio. If you ever need video (maybe to make a gaming song w/ gameplay in the bg. Don't know if you plan to ever so I'll mention it just in case) then try Bandicam. Free version has 10 minute recording limit and a watermark up top. Full version is $30.

Audacity for sure! It is the best and it is free! Even some big time YouTubers use it!

One more for Audacity, I generally use it for my podcasts but I've recorded a few songs on it as well.
