Recording Software

I currently use Screenflow. This is a program only available for Macintosh Devices. I will not switch to any other recording device, EVER! I am completely satisfied with the software I have now. A big part of recording is finding the software that you feel comfortable with, this is probably the best one for Mac. :).

Screenflow and i have to use a software called soundflower to record the audio from my mac as screenflow can't

By audio i don't mean me speaking ( I do add that in post) I mean the sounds coming out of the pc such as the sound of gunfire in a fps

I swear by Screenflow. I love it! It does EVERYTHING and it's so pro it's crazy for the price.

Then you're doing something wrong. Screenflow can record the computer audio, and the mic audio in seperate tracks. Eliminates the need for Audacity and Soundflower.
